Foot or Feet Bunnies

Please note any purchase made on the listed links does provide me a commission. I do appreciate any support, thank you.

There is nothing I love more than seeing how much my children grow year after year. I find it so amazing! I love tracking their growth through their handprints and footprints. During Easter time I usually want to do things that fit the Easter theme. The one I chose to do this year was super easy.

I purchased a 10 x 10 Wood Panel from Walmart and painted it white using acrylic paint. If I were to do it again, I would sand down the panel, so it didn’t have so much texture. After painting it white I added some green paint at the bottom for the grass. Next, I had each of my children sit in a chair so I could paint the bottom of their feet. Once I was done painting the bottom of their feet with a paintbrush (lots of giggles in the process) I stamp their feet on the wood panel with their toes toward the grass. Be sure to have a wet washcloth or baby wipe close by to wash their feet so they don’t track it. Lastly, you paint bunny ears on the heels and glue cotton balls where the pad of the foot is to look like a fluffy bunny tail.

I love doing projects like these because as the kids grow you can look back to see how small they once were. Be sure to put the year you did the project and possibly their ages. My kids also really appreciate looking at how small they once were as well.
